    Hi Meghna, The eligibility criteria of M.Sc. (Hons. ). Microbiology programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree (Applied Medical Science or Medical Science and Allied Medical or Agriculture or Biosciences or Food Science or Medical Lab. Technology or Life Sciences or Veterinary Microbiology & Parasitology or Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology or Clinical Chemistry or Public Health & Allied Sciences or Plant Science) or equivalent.     Hi,For being eligible for M.Sc Microbiology course, candidate must have a B.Sc Degree from a recognized university or equivalent, with two subjects combination of home Science, human genetics, nutrition and dietetics, botany, zoology, biochemistry, biotechnology, plant protection, microbiology, dairy sciences, agriculture and horticulture, home Science, fisheries and public health from any recognized university or equivalent.     Microbiology is a specialisation. The students who have completed their Bachelor in microbiology or biotechnology are elite opt for Masters in microbiology as they are trained in the basics and the laboratory skills and techniques.
