If you are good in Science, then you can go for medical line (biology), but remember Science stream requires greater number of hours of study, then class 10th.

It is not good to decide the subjects based on whether you are good in mathematics or not because mathematics is a very important part of most of the fields and some doesn't require high level of mathematics so I would suggest you opt for maths with your choice of subjects because as you are in 11th you have a handful of time to improve yourself in mathematics, at least basics are easy to learn.

Hello, If you are weak in mathematics, then you can choose other fields also. But, it is all up to you that in which field you have interest and what are your future goals. If you have interest in commerce, then you can go through it and biology and arts are also option. But, as I think that you have to face mathematics little bit any field you choose so make yourself strong by going more and more practice on problems, because it is the only way to master in mathematics. All the best.

If you are weak in mathematics then go for medical and arts stream but if you go for medical stream, it has physics which is difficult without maths. If you are good in physics then go for medical or for arts.

    Hi,
Don't worry if you are not good in maths, you can choose commerce, arts and other non-mathematical subjects.
    Good luck.

Hi Sonu, you can opt for Arts and Humanities. Science ( except medical ) and Commerce both involve mathematics so not suitable for you. Talking about the subjects its your own choice, know what you like, know your strengths and choose accordingly. Some examples could be Political Science, History, English, Geography, Fine Arts etc.

Absolutely! Having a humanities background is no barrier to pursuing Fine Arts at Chandigarh University.

The programme welcomes students from all streams, including humanities, as long as they meet the minimum requirement of 50% marks in their 12th exams. Many humanities students find the programme a natural extension of their academic interests, as the curriculum often connects with cultural, historical, and social themes. For example, a student who studied history might bring unique perspectives into courses like painting or applied arts.

The university values creativity and passion over specific subjects studied in school.
