Which syllabus is tough: B.Sc nautical or B.Tech marine engineering?

    Hello,
    In B.Sc Nautical Science, you will learn everything related to Navigation of a ship and as you grow with your rank, you will learn all the commercial aspects and dealings with agents, company, charterers and local port authorities. In B.Tech Marine Engineering, since you will be in the Technical department, you will see yourself transform from the basics of the machineries to the advanced knowledge of the Engine room as you grow with your rank. Salary: For both the departments it is almost the same, with the senior deck officers (Chief Officer and Captain) earning a bit more as compared to the parallel ranks of the senior Enginee

    In B.Sc Nautical Science, the syllabus is different than of B.Tech. B.Tech in marine engineering is definitely tougher as it requires on to study the basics to advance level of mechanics of marine Science.

    Both are similar, but B.Tech course is a bit tougher than B.Sc.
