You need to have a very thorough knowledge of your graduation since its an exam for Masters. Go through the syllabus, get books accordingly, take help from your teachers in case of nay doubts regarding some or topic or anything else. You can try getting course material from any coaching institute if you don't wish to take coaching. And a very important tip is solve as many question papers as possible as only practice makes a man perfect. After learning and mugging up everything you need to be able to implement it as well. So, do as many question papers a s possible.

There is no particular book for this. You need to go through few books and collect the main points and later solve the previous question papers. You need to work hard for this exam. It's a very good and difficult exam!

IIT JAM Exam is one of the toughest exams conducted in India. So, you must prepare well for the exam. For JAM preparation, you should solve previous year question papers. This will give you an idea about the pattern and difficulty level of the questions. Also, take online mock tests regularly. This will help you analyze your level of preparation and also increase your speed and accuracy. Refer best books and study materials for your preparation. Make notes of all the important stuff. This will help you in your last minute preparation.
    Best of luck.
