You can prepare through NCERT books as you are going for target this year so NCERT books with MTG objective books are good option to score good marks in IIT. never take easy to chemistry especially inorganic chemistry.

Definitely collecting books will create problems. So, it is better study NCERT completely first especially chemistry which is really scoring. Then, you may take up old IIT papers maybe 22 or 28 years of Cengage pub or Disha they both are good. All the best and give time to all subs.

There is no such book which can lead you to the top rankers until unless you don't do self-study. Self study is must. Try to give equal time to each subjects. Go thoroughly to each topic. I think you must have join any coaching. Go through your coaching material properly. cover all topics and focus more on important topics.
    Best of luck.

    Hello Dear!
For IIT-JEE is preferable to study from HC Verma for physics, NCERT books for chemistry.
I also personally prefer Akash Study Materials.
    Hope you got the answer.
    All the best.
