If you want to take admission in Delhi University on that case sports quota helps you to take admission in pretty good colleges.

Sports quota is accepted by many of the ranked colleges in delhi. But it is necessary to have good academics to get admission and pass the entry level exam of that college or a exam as a whole because only the sports quota couldn't get you admission in top colleges.

And the percentage is according to the category. For admission in DU SC/ST 45%, OBC 50%, General 55%.
