The level of competition will decide up on all these factors. No institution does keep seats vacant, strictly sticking to some criteria.All these may vary year to year.

Dear Mr. Gokul. basic eligibility criteria to get admission into MBA/PGDM program is 50% marks in graduation. So mostly B-Schools accept below 60%.
