Which top colleges provide a lateral entry in B.Tech after Polytechnic?

5 years agoHello Alma, Majority of the top colleges including the government colleges allow for lateral entry in their 4 year engineering degree courses directly into the second year. Perhaps the noted exceptions are IIT's and NIT's. They do not have facility for lateral entry. These days in spite of best efforts by the top private colleges or Deemed to be university's, they find it tough to fill up their classes to the capacity in the first year. This forces them to accept students at least in the second year of 4 year course so that they get the fees for remaining three years to run their institutions.
