Hi kaberi, Agriculture is a primary source of livelihood for the majority of Indians. Thus, generally it remains the last priority among students choosing a career option. Hi Organizations like Coffee Board, Tea board, silk board recruit students of M.Sc. Agriculture biotechnology for research assistant posts. Startup companies hire such students who can handle the quantitative as well as qualitative development of cash crops. You can enter the private sector as well the government offices. Hence first selection should be of a good college which is of repute so that it can give the best academic excellence in the form of best faculty who are there to help you. Added to this, well-equipped labs and library. Exposure of the students to the world market and a wide platform for the student to deal with the world level activities is a must. There are many universities which would offer scholarship. But you need a college which would cater to your all round development. The name that comes to me first is LPU which carefully nurtures its students and propels them to the pinnacle of success so that their hard work culminates to a point which would be the cause of envy of many. LPU has been ranked by NIRF among the top 100 universities including the IITs because of its worth.
