BCA grads are generally hired by Small and Medium size IT companies in the role of Developer, Tester or Computer technician. Large IT companies and MNCs hire BCA grads for 24x7 Application Support roles with limited opportunities to do code modification. Indian IT companies first choice is BTech CSE/ IT of MCA grads. Therefore, it is difficult to get a good job after BCA. Any BCA grad will have to do MCA or MBA for a meaningful career.
