A telephonic interview goes on pretty much like a personal interview. The interviewer will want to know about you and since they cannot see you, they will assess you based on your confidence in the way you answer them. You might get questions regarding your previous course, your subjects, your interests, general awareness, current affairs etc. They will try to see if you fit into this structure. That's about it.

It is kind of normal interview only. First, they will ask tell me something about yourself that is not written in your resume. Next question can be related to your work experience or internship . Then will ask some current affairs and questions surrounded by it. Then why do you want to join their college? Why do you want to do MBA? Other options of college which you have and at last your hobbies.
