I think you are talking about PG or ,m.tech. You have many choices in civil engineering higher studies. You can choose any one like structural engineering, Geotechnical engineering, earthquake engineering, transportation engineering, highway engineering, hydraulic engineering, earthquake engineering

All branches are good,it depends upon your interest. However environment is a very good branch and lot of jobs are available in academic as well as in the industry
