Visva Bharati University offers BSc courses through one of its affiliated colleges, J.D. Birla Institute (JDBI), and from the university itself. On the other hand, Calcutta University offers BSc courses through more than 80 affiliated colleges. Therefore, Calcutta University has more affiliated colleges. Moreover, the number of seats offered by Visva Bharati University is 340, and Calcutta University offers a total number of 21,771 seats in BSc courses.
