In my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and has practical exposure, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. Amazon offers 3 students a record Rs. 28 Lacs package + 28 students offered internships! For Cognizant, LPU has been the destination to pick market ready workforce as it has selected 1800 plus engineering students over the years. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Hello Sameeksha, no university or an institution can guarantee 100% placements that too 4 years from today. No one can predict what would be the industry situation at that point in time. What all institutions will definitely try to give is what they have achieved in the history of previous years. A student has to logically analyse this and come to a conclusion. That's all there is to it. However some unscrupulous private colleges do state that they can guarantee 100% placement. In suc cases invariably it has been found out that there is a Nexus between such colleges and the probable employers who are paid from the students fees which he has paid in advance during his studiee. Such employers terminate the employment within a year and hence indicating that it was not a permanent employment. Be that as it may, situation for the branch of CSE appears quite bright as we go into the future. In addition if you study hard with the aim of gaining knowledge you will always get employment. In my experience, LPU gives 100% placements. The lovely professional university is one of best the private engineering colleges in the country. And it has been ranked by the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking list. LPU in the Top 200 Universities Globally. Only three Indian Universities were able to make it to the list. Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because I had completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced.
