Which university has good placements: SRM or LPU?

Dear Vikas, I am not aware of the placements of SRM University but being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of placements at LPU. LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Besides, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes: the highest Placement (Engineering) Rs. 42 Lacs per annum (Microsoft) the highest Placement (Management) Rs. 21 Lacs per annum (SOBHA Developers) the highest Placement (Design) Rs. 36.5 Lacs per annum (SIXT India) Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA The highest internship stipend is up to 80k per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities) The reason why LPU has better placement records than other universities is because of its unique career cell. It enables students in getting relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge. Resume writing, aptitude development workshops among other activities are hosted for the overall development of students and prepare them to crack the interviews easily. Alumni of LPU are working with top-notch brands globally with a package of more than 1 crore. Right from Google to Apple, students are working worldwide. Some of the top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Accenture, Cognizant, Amazon, TCS, IBM, Informatica, Capgemini, SAP, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Bosch, Ashok Leyland, Voltas, Mercedes Benz, Honda, Daikin, Renault Nissan, Sony, Adobe, Virtusa, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Trident Group, Infineon, KPMG, Colgate-Palmolive and the list still goes on. Initiatives taken by any University in terms of Placement of their students must be considered as prime parameter for selecting BEST university. Being an alumni of LPU, I must say that, LPU is always pro-active for providing the best placement opportunity to its student. Hello! I am LPU alumni and currently working with HCL. I would like to share my experience with you regarding placement. I will not be biased to LPU, but will tell you the exact reality and industry expectations. Placement is something, which depends on both the student as well the college or university you are studying in. Both the parties, Student and University have to give their inputs then only, you can good placement. First let me talk about University or college, In case of placement the job of university is to get the best company for campus placement or get the students connected to maximum no. Of companies. Another most important job of the university is to prepare the student well for placements. This is one of the most important job to be taken care by the university. Just connecting the student to the company is not enough, preparing the student for the cracking the interview is more important. I being the LPU alumni, really appreciate the efforts of the Placement Enhancement Programs team for preparing the students from the first semester itself. They focus on not only the technical part but also on other aspects of cracking the interview. LPU faculty members prepare the student from scratch, focusing upon their communication skills, dressing sense, preparing CV, addressing seniors, responding questions, handling situation and many more. LPU prepares the student to such level, that at the later stage of your life, if you are planning to switch, such tips and tricks will be your saviour. So, At LPU, you will be no. Of opportunities to give your best. Now, Secondly Student is suppose to prepare himself/herself for the interview. You need to maintain the minimum eligibility required. Also, you need to focus upon building the resume. Participate in as many as extra curricular activities. At LPU you will be given no. Of platforms to build up your resume. Another important factor towards placement is Training and Internship. At, LPU internship is a part of curriculum so, it is mandatory to attend. LPU also helps you in fetching the best training and internship option. Many of the LPU students even get the Pre Placement offer. Secondly, University should not just focus on connecting student with the company, but should polish the student in such way that he/she is able to crack any interview easily. Being and LPU alumni, I have observed that LPU gives you ample opportunities to boost your CV and also focuses on over all development of student so that cracking any interview is a cake -walk. Many LPU students at LPU even hold multiple placement options, I am glad, I am one of those.
