The session was conducted by Dr. Amar Singh from System and Architecture domain enlighten the faculty members on Google Laboratory aka Colab that allows anybody to write and execute arbitrary python code through the browser, and is especially well suited to machine learning, data analysis and education. "E Content Development Using Moodlecloud". Mr. Manikant Roy, Assitant Professor, System and Architecture domain was the resource person during the session. School of Computer Application has the high focus on research and development, dedicated to achieve excellence across a broad range of research areas, to increase awareness, communal progress, and industrial development and eventually benefit different segments of the society as a whole. School is enriched with highly competent and experienced doctorate faculty specialised in the different areas of research. School is continuously excelling in publishing quality research papers with high impact factor journals, getting the patent filed and working on the funded research projects. More than hundred research scholars are getting benefits and pursuing their research activities under the guidance of respective domain experts. Research Thrust Areas From time to time, the School has identified diverse thrust areas of research by keeping need of the hour in mind. Several research projects and studies are done in inter disciplinary areas. Some of the research areas are needed as per the guidelines of the different funding bodies, but in addition to these, in consultation with the industry and the faculty, following are some of the thrust areas which are finalized on the basis of contemporary research issues emerged in recent period: 1. Artificial Intelligence in e-Healthcare Solutions (Heart Attack Prediction; Pregnancy Care; Dementia Detection) 2. Data Sciences in Educational Data Mining (Learning Analytics; Teaching Analytics) 3. Robotics to Facilitate Farming (e-Yantra based Initiatives) 4. IoT and AI in Detection and Recommendation for Diseases in Agriculture Products (Fruits; Vegetables; Other crops) 5. AI for Business Application (Digital Marketing; Sales Forecasting) 6. Data Security in Cloud (Cryptographic Solution; Key Management) So, Its LPU all the way ! DVD.

Many of our teachers are selected from the best institutes across India like the NITs and the IIITs. Lovely Professional University- LPU has 3000+ faculty members in the university. Lovely Professional University has the best faculty. Most of the faculty are Ph.D. and experienced and many are from IIT and IIM as well. Faculty in every department is well-experienced and have expert knowledge who work on our skill enhancement. Professors go for value-based education which is something we as professionals would require in our career. Guest lectures by experts and some really successful people are arranged by our department to widen our scope of learning. Almost all of the colleges being compared here have a huge number of people on the campus. Student to faculty ratio can be a defining factor while choosing amongst these colleges.

Hi, The name that comes to me first is LPU which carefully nurtures its students and propels them to the pinnacle of success so that their hard work culminates to a point which would be the cause of envy of many. LPU has experienced selected faculty from IITs and NITs besides other good colleges. They share their expertise in the classes to enhance the level of academics. So many new patents and researches have been introduced by the LPU faculty acclaimed throughout the world and this in turn helps the students in making excellent projects. The hands-on training offered too ar really good. The faculty of LPU is very helpful. You can meet them beyond your classes too for getting the second round of explanations of the concepts not clear in the classes. The faculty takes the onus of the success of the student as his own success. So I can never doubt the academic enhancement provided by the updated and experienced LPU faculty. Thanks.

I personally don't believe in comparisons but if you ask me to compare and advise, I will recommended you to go for LPU. LPU is popular for its excellence in teaching and the infrastructure facilities the university possesses. It aims to be recognised internationally as one of the premier academic institutions, which contributes towards the society and industry through Research and Training, Globalization, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership. The experienced staff which is deputed to teach and guide is experienced one and is meeting the norms of UGC. The pedagogy which is undertaken to teach students is always updated with new initiatives like flip classroom, more discussions etc. This is a place where a student develops confidence and takes initiatives, develops entrepreneurial abilities and learn to survive in challenging conditions. The connection between the students and faculty is marvelous as personal mentors are allotted to every faculty which I can be sure no other institute is providing. In addition to this, the parents who send their wards from far-flung areas are sending their wards on the basis of security system which LPU is providing. It is pertinent to add here that a special division for students welfare is there to assist the activities and to provide a smooth platform. This University provides ample opportunities to every eligible student to secure good placement, Internships Opportunities offered by the University placement department (Division of Career Services, DCS). The connect between the students and faculty is marvellous as personal mentors are allotted to every faculty which I can be sure no other institute is providing. In addition to this, the parents who send their wards from far flung areas are sending their wards on the basis of security system which LPU is providing. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. Hi Sukhwinder, LPU has 3000+ faculty and more than 600 are Ph.D. among which 35+ are Ph.D. from IITs. Faculty of CSE is well qualified and experienced. They are concerned with each students welfare and ensure that each of them moves on with the pace of the class. Teachers of CSE focus on the classroom learning of the students, live projects and training etc. And provide with the utmost help to them. Faculty members always there to help the students.
