    Student interest in technology has increased significantly in this day and age of science and technology, and pupils have begun to prepare themselves for this passion at a young age.     There are many great public universities, the top ones being the IITs. Apart from them, there are good NITs and IIITs for the ME course. Another university that is definitely worth trying is CU- Chandigarh University. It has a great programme structure in ME, placements are high and the infrastructure is quite advanced.
