Which university in MP should I prefer for B.Sc in agriculture in terms of placements: LPU or Sam Higginbottom University?

    Dear Ronnie, If you are looking for B.Sc. In agriculture in terms of placements, then I recommend LPU for this programme. LPU is the first private university that got approval by ICAR. Last year, their agriculture student from LPU bagged a Package of 1 CRORE. LPU students have got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics, and many more.     Both are doing great in the education sector. I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt.     Now you would be saying why I am saying like that, actually my cousin has completed his degree from here only. The most significant thing which should be emphasized is that LPU is the first private university which has been approved by ICAR. I along with my cousins had visited the fields, labs.     Agriculture course will give you better career opportunities in both government and private sectors. You can also go for teaching jobs as Assistant Professor or Lecturer. If you have an interest in research work then also you can pursue M.Sc.
