Now you would be saying why I am saying like that, actually my cousin has completed his degree from here only. Both are doing great in the education sector. I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Agriculture deals with well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora. Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country or option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. Last year, their agriculture student from LPU bagged a Package of 1 CRORE. LPU students have got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics, and many more. Students of Agriculture and Forestry had a research stay and an Edu-excursion Camp at TERI University New Delhi. The international camp was organized to share projects by students related to sustainable water resources management. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students are given a lot of on-job training as well as work on projects where they can earn also. Agriculture placements of the university are very good with students getting high packages. And The highest package offered is approximately 8 LPA and the minimum package is 3.5 LPA.
