Dear Saezy, LPU and MSU are good private universities and doing well in the education sector. Coming to the journalism programme, I recommend LPU based on the following. The programme is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic, and New Age Media. As we all know, Mass Communication is a medium of dispersing information to many people. The term is not limited to only journalism but spreads its branches to various other media fields including newsgathering and reporting, film direction and production, event management, public relations, advertising, corporate communication, and the list continues. Hi Saezy, there were many of my batchmates in LPU who did their B.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication). In today's date they are really well settled in Industry & to some extent some of them more successful & in respectful position in Industry in compare to traditional course graduates. It's all because of LPU's tremendous effort to make it's student confident enough to remain compatible with the latest trends of the Industry. I can say Lovely Professional University is the best option if anyone wants to do courses related to Journalism & Mass Communication. School of Journalism and Film Production, LPU, is a leading teacher education

LPU's placement record is generally strong but varies by course and student performance. Top branches like CSE, IT, and some core engineering and management programs see better placements, with big companies like Microsoft, Google (via off-campus), Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, and Infosys visiting over the years. A few students do get very high packages, but these are exceptions, not the norm. Many students get average packages in the range of 4–6 LPA, especially in mass-recruitment roles. Your skills, internships, projects, communication, and networking matter more than just the college name, even at LPU or any other university.

hi,

Law placements at LPU are decent and growing, but you should keep realistic expectations. Top and proactive students usually secure internships and jobs in law firms, corporate legal departments, litigation chambers, NGOs, and LPOs. The university regularly organizes moot courts, legal aid camps, internships, and interactions with advocates and judges, which help in networking. However, like most law colleges (except a few NLUs), campus placements are not guaranteed for everyone. A lot depends on your mooting, drafting skills, internships, research work, communication, and initiative. If you build a strong CV, LPU can provide platf

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank. The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who s
