In architecture, it doesn't really matter if you've been the topper in school. It does show that you might have the will to toil and struggle endlessly for the next 57 years. So, if you do want to seriously pursue an architecture degree anywhere, keep an open mind to learn (it's all about your will to be an average student or be a knowledgeable and experienced fresher architect), and, stay strong and positive.
