Both Kalyani University and Thapar University are good universities, but Thapar University is better overall. Both are good just see the fees it's high in thapar and low in chitkara and location if chandigarh than chitkara if not then thapar if you have money go to thapar depends upon location and feee

If you have CSE at both, I'd pick Thapar. Chitkara is a decent option, especially if fees are a big factor, but Thapar has the stronger engineering reputation and overall peer group. If the fee difference isn't a major issue for you, I'd go with Thapar.

Thapar has pretty solid BTech placements, especially for CSE, COE and related branches. A lot depends on your branch and skills, but overall the placement scene is one of the better things about Thapar.
