Which university is better- deemed or private?

Deemed University is a status granted to high performing institutes and departments of various universities by the Ministry of Human Resource Development on the advice of UGC. The private Universities are established with state governments approvals. The main difference between a private and a deemed university is that, a deemed university is more free and flexible as compared to the Private Universities in their syllabus, course content etc. Dome Deemed and private Universities may have similar facilities and faculty. You must compare Universities based on ranking not on whether they are private or deemed.
