Question

ParmSidhu · Answer

Automobile Engineering at Lovely Professional University can provide career opportunities for students interested in automobiles, electric vehicles, manufacturing and mobility technologies. The programme covers areas such as automobile design, vehicle dynamics, automotive engineering, manufacturing, thermodynamics, CAD/CAM, vehicle systems and maintenance. Students can also gain practical exposure through laboratories, workshops, projects, simulations, internships and industry-oriented activities, which are important for developing technical skills. In terms of placements, automobile engineering has a more specialised job market than broad branches such as Computer Science. Graduates can explore opportunities with automobile manufacturers, automotive component companies, manufacturing organisations, engineering service companies, electric vehicle companies and related industries. Roles may include automobile engineer, production engineer, design engineer, quality engineer, maintenance engineer, service engineer and automotive testing professional. The growing electric-vehicle and smart-mobility sectors can also create opportunities for students who develop additional skills in EV technology, electronics, battery systems, automation and data analysis. LPU provides placement preparation through activities such as aptitude training, technical preparation, communication development, resume building, mock interviews and career guidance. The university also conducts recruitment drives involving companies from different sectors. However, placement outcomes can vary considerably depending on the student's academic performance, technical skills, internships, projects and the companies participating during a particular year. For better placement prospects, an automobile engineering student should build strong knowledge of CAD, vehicle systems, manufacturing, EV technology and simulation software while gaining internships and practical project experience. Overall, LPU can provide a platform for automobile engineering placements, but students should consider the specialised nature of the automobile industry and focus strongly on practical and emerging automotive

I would like to share some of the crucial points of Automobile Engineering. I have completed my post graduation from here only. Automobile Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing, mechanical mechanisms as well operations of automobiles. It is also an introduction to vehicle engineering which includes cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses etc. The chances of you getting placed at a company solely depend upon you and not on anybody else for that matter. There is no set package that you receive after graduating. Job is used to sustain yourself while doing what you love. It isn't like that you provide money to the college to spend 4 years and after that, you get a job. You are getting educated and universities are not some job agencies so stop looking at a degree like that. Anyways, LPU gives great placements to capable students of automobile engineering The latest package offered to students at LPU in the Automobile Engineering programme is 12 LPA from Click labs. The majority opt for Teaching/Research.
