Chitkara University is primarily famous for its engineering and also for CSE, to be specific. As a second-year CSE student, I have experienced that the university, from day one, focuses on students and their betterment. The university course curriculum is up-to-date as they have adapted to modern technologies and focus on teaching about new fields. Classes timings are fixed from 9 Am to 4:30 pm and breaks are provided in between. A dedicated building is allotted to engineering students. Chitkara University focuses more on practical learning rather than theoretical as 50% of subjects have dedicated labs. The university also organizes various hackathons and coding-based events. And in terms of placements the university is the best and offers all its students top notch placements. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, and HCL recruit students from Chitkara University. Students have to choose a specialisation in the 3rd year and, based on their selection, batches are being made and faculty members are being allotted. Along with that, in the 3rd year, industry experts teach students. LPU is better for B.Tech CSE compared to Chitkara University. Lovely University has earned many affiliations, recognition, and accreditation and still working for more. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. Well, there are many good reputed institutions but if you want to have quality of education along with other opportunities then Chitkara is the campus where you should enrol yourself. Chitkara is ranked as the top moat college for engineering programme by NIRF, ARIIA, THE and others, with maximum students getting placed the University has the record of providing maximum number of placement possibilities to the students. Companies like Wipro, Microsoft, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL, HP, Samsung, Amazon and many other visit the campus of Chitkara to offer job and internships to the graduates of Computer Science Engineering. The interviews are help before their final semester so the students have their offer letter in their hands before completion of the degree. It is said to be true that once you graduate from Chitkara, number of opportunities will be there for you and you can have the finest one. So I would, better opt for Chitkara and enjoy the amazing atmosphere of the University.

Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students.
