On the basis of feedback from the Alumni's I believe that both LPU and Chitkara Universities are similar for pursuing B.Tech CSE graduation degree but LPU has additional edge of exposure, updated curriculum and good placements because of its aggressive brand building efforts. I personally believe LPU is the best University. LPU provides the latest curriculum which is accepted at industry level, industrial exposures and the best placement depending upon the caliber of the student. Every year nearly 600 companies visit for campus-recruitment of students. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies, Asahi India, Ceasefire Industries, Sandhar Technologies, Indus tower, Decathlon Sports, Exide Industries, Emami, Eye-Q Vision, ITC Limited, Janalakshmai Financial Services, Kelloggs, MRF, Naukri, Moodys Analytics, WNS Global, Writer Corporation, Nivesh Group, OCWEN Financial, Practo etc. Considering the above mentioned points, I can confirm that LPU is best option to pursue CSE. Everyone says they e the best, but how to compare? Well here comes to solution: compare the colleges on following points and SEE the difference. Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since IT is a highly dynamic field, you cant afford a program which is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy formal the backbone of how the program is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech program must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like GitHub, Advance excel etc. Are must for any professional to succeed in career. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech program. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc. Are given high importance in the organisations. The program must include the training or modules on all these. Both options are doing good even I faced lot of confusion in selection of university at the time of my graduation. After long comparison I felt good for LPU. It gave me extra edge in everything. I am an alumni of LPU and I have seen and heard his experience during his UG. From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places.
