Hi All are premier institutions. There are many universities which would offer scholarship. But you need a college which would cater to your all round development. It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class, etc.

Hi Gaurav, Without any bias towards any particular college, I will offer you my own perspective. It depends on your end goals or objectives. Most of the Engineering Colleges in India don't focus much on developing the overall personality of the student. Anyways Your decision making should not be on the basis of placements, packages but on quality of students ( your peer group), faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, and the alumni network. My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working in Amazon with the highest package. So through him I come to know about University and few other things which I would like to discuss:- LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. The placements on the campus is good enough. It is the best university in the North of India to give the best packages in B.Tech (CSE). During the time of my brother induction, I have seen a few students who got placed in the companies with a package of 28 LPA. The university placement drive undoubtedly works hard for the students to get placed. Just before Final Year of your course, a special team called School of Professional Enhancement will prepare students for upcoming placements and you won't get a day off from placements, every day a company comes to campus. Its just up to you how well you can do and never lose Patience you will get placed, you just have to prepare well for that. All the above mentioned institutes are renowned one. But I am much aware about Lovely professional university. In the establishment of 18 years it has grown so much and is well recognised from various agencies. It has availed various rankings and accreditation's also. LPU provides all the facilities inside the campus itself. It is having it's own hospital, mall, hotel in the campus itself. LPU provides the academic exposure to it's students. It also provides the guest lectures from the renowned personalities, live projects to provide hand on experience, workshops, professional enhancement classes all are integral part of the curriculum. From time to time LPU organizes various events which are of interest to the students and students can also participate. If I say about placements, LPU has been a landing place for the major companies of the market. The companies which visit IIT's also recruit from LPU. LPU provides ample opportunities to the students. All the universities are doing well. I have completed MBA form LPU so I don't have much idea about CSE branch. One of my known has done B.Tech CSE from LPU. Reviews are pretty good. I would like to recommend you to go for the LPU because LPU provides quality education as well as the placements to the students. Few points told by my cousin who did her studies from LPU that will help you to make your decision: Faculty: Most of faculty members are from IIT, IIIT, NIT, IIM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have decade of experience. Faculty is really helping. Even they helped her after regular university hours for her projects. The learning methodology in LPU is clear, precise and amazing. The studies here help you build strong fundamentals which helps practical application of theoretical concepts easier. International experiences: University offers international exchange study programs, study tour and internships opportunities Standard of students: They do not compromise on the quality of the students. They have a rigorous admission process. Admission can be taken if you have good percentage and you have good percentile in entrance + marks in interview. Courses offered: They have ample of courses. She studied many extra courses as major and minor elective other than the curriculum such as music, photography, hacking, fashion designing, Air traffic control, cryptography University provides with opportunities and it's up to the students to grab it. My cousin got placed in the very first drive of placements that too on package of 26 LPA. All I can say is LPU brings in lot more companies (apx. 450+) and the average package revolves around 5 to 6 Lacs per annum. Its up to you how you prepare yourself for the placements and stand out from the herd. LPU provide different classes for placements which helps in grooming. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for government Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interview skills right from the 1st year, continuously for 2/3/4 ( duration of course) years till they get job. I think you should go for LPU. I'm also 12th passed student. I secured very good marks in JEE Mains paper 2 (got chance in NIT) which is for Architecture but I can't able to secure good marks in paper 1 which is for Technology. I want to study with Technology ( B.Tech CSE). I don't want to drop for next year. Then I was searching for good private institute. There are a lot of private colleges in India for engineering, but I had to decide go for LPU I know LPU is growing institute, Many better institutes are there than LPU but the faculty systems, educational skills, rule regulations, disciplines of LPU is much better than other institutions. One thing I'm telling you that don't go for good packages, try to develop your knowledge skills. If you having with good knowledge then you can do anything may be your package is not huge at first time but if you able to develop your attitude in good ways then in future you will definitely get good package. In my opinion, LPU provides a great facility, education, training, workshop etc. which helps a lot for your development. So in my opinion, LPU is the best!

LPU is the best private university in all terms. Placement wise best-above 90% and the highest package: Rs 20.34 LPA for offered for CSE/IT by Adobe. Soft skill and pre-placement training (core subjects /coding skills) Best place for present your talent like participating project Expo, coding events like code chef, Hackathon and other department level events. Workshop, seminar, conference and Guest lecture from good reputed institutions/ Industrial persons. Training and certification courses like SAP, Oracle and SAP. Free Wi-Fi- 24*7 (learning form online course like NPTEL, MIT videos. Etc. ) Faculty members are highly qualified. Learn other preparation like GMT, GRE Any other programming course inside the campus. Care about the average student (extra doubt clearing session on saturday (optional). Entrepreneurship training.
