CU and CGC Jhanjeri are sister institutions but being a university, Chandigarh University has better exposure to offer and has been accredited NAAC A+ recently. It is the youngest to do so. Placement record of CU is impeccable and plenty of semester exchange opportunities await.

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.
