Which university is better for B.Tech in CSE among Chandigarh University and Thapar University in terms of placement?

Hi Shrishti, I would say that Chandigarh University is better option for CSE than Thapar. One of the prime reason is the Industry sponsored specialised programs which are offered at CU. There are industry sponsored courses and labs from TCS, IBM, Microsoft and few other well known IT companies. These courses bridge the gap between the industry demand and readiness of students for industry. These courses ensures the 100% placement of students. Another good feature of Chandigarh University is student friendly environment. University is known for adopting new ideas and innovation. University is giving wings to student's Ideas. There is an incubation centre which is build in the university to assist the students to develop their ideas. The university is bringing the latest facilities and technology for its students at all costs. The faculty is highly qualified. Many faculty members carries good experience with them which becomes very beneficial for the students. CU has set up a record in Limca book of records for the highest number of companies visiting the campus for placements. For current session 122 companies visited the campus for hiring B.Tech CSE students. The highest package is 35 LPA.

B.Tech CS at Chandigarh University is the most renowned course in north India. The university toils really hard to ensure all its B.Tech students are placed.
