BCA or Bachelor of Computer Applications is an undergraduate course that will build the knowledge of the students regarding computer language. By completing this three-year course, the students will be able to build their careers in Information Technology and Computer Applications field. Due to the ever-growing requirement of technology, the demand for BCA graduates is increasing rapidly. After graduation, BCA students can opt to work for leading IT companies or Government organizations. My cousin did a BCA degree from LPU so I can share the details of the BCA programme at LPU. Both the universities are good. But I would suggest you to go for LPU because LPU is ranked again by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 on 23rd place amongst Top Universities in India (Both Government & Private)
When it comes to placements, being an Alumni of LPU I would say you should not worry at all for placements, when you have chosen LPU. Though placements is more of a students labour but at the same time university also plays a vital role. LPU is recently been awarded with "National Employability Award
Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India has recognised the LPU as one the most Employable and P

Between LPU, Chitkara, and Chandigarh University, I would personally go with Chandigarh University for BCA and Here's why. CU is one of the few private universities in India to be ABET accredited, which means their Computer Science related programs including BCA, meet global education standards.

CU also has a strong presence in QS World University Rankings and is NAAC A+ accredited, showing it focuses on both quality education and student support. The BCA programme offers real industry exposure with regular workshops, live projects, and expert sessions.

Another great thing is their internship and placement support. You get training, mock

Chandigarh University is the best university for BCA. The university has industry-released labs for cloud computing, Android app development, Red Hat, Microsoft Azure, etc., and is supported by reputable companies like Google, IBM, Microsoft, and Amazon where students will have the opportunity to work on real-time projects using these platforms.

The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and many are trained by these big companies themselves. Placements are also a strong point, top recruiters like Microsoft, Google, Accenture, and many others regularly hire from the BCA batch.

To help you with  the best place for BCA, I'd genuinely say Chandigarh University stands out—especially if you're looking for more than just classroom theory. What I liked is how Chandigarh University focuses on future tech like AR/VR (in tie-up with Meta) and UI/UX, which gives a serious edge when it comes to job roles later. Even if you're not into coding-heavy stuff, the flexibility in the course helps you find your space. Placements are pretty decent too, especially in roles like software testing, analyst, or even UI/UX intern.

Plus, the BCA department has good exposure—industry workshops, hackathons, and a lot of han

As per my opinion, LPU is far ahead. LPU School of Computer Application is ranked among the top four Computer Applications Institutes of North India by NASSCOM. The education quality is pretty good in LPU. LPU invests a lot of time and money in maintaining world-class education and having world-class faculty in it. LPU has a huge number of international students studying here which proves the point that education is top-notch in LPU. The faculty to student ratio at LPU is 40:1. The professors are mostly Ph.D. s. They go deep into the topics to make students understand and always ask for confirmation before leading ahead. Curriculum: Th

Dear Devanshu, among the LPU, Chitkara, and CU I will suggest Chandigarh university Chandigarh University (CU) is a leading Indian Institution offering its students a unique amalgamation of professional and academic excellence. The University has been accredited with the prestigious A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Chandigarh University has become the youngest and the only private university in India to bag an A+ grade in the first cycle of the accreditation process and has also become the only state private university in Punjab to be accredited by NAAC. Also, ranked among Asia's best and the fastes

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.

The cutoff changes every year and we are in 2025, so you should know the cutoff for NCHMCT JEE 2025. For NCHMCT JEE 2025, the closing rank for Chandigarh University is around 11195 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Hotel and Hospitality Management course. This number comes from the latest available round-wise data and gives a basic idea of the expected range. If we see older figures, the 2022 cutoff stayed close to 10201 as the opening rank in Round 1 and about 10382 as the closing rank in Round 2.

Yes, that's one of the main reasons. Chandigarh university's consistent performance in the QS Asia University Rankings has made it a popular choice among students. Being ranked as the No.1 private university in India for three years in a row gives students confidence that they're joining a university recognised for its academic quality, global research, and strong placements. These rankings reflect real things students care about like how Well graduates are placed (employer reputation), how strong the teaching and research are (academic reputation), and how connected the university is globally (international research network).
