    Chandigarh University (CU) is a Private University accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC. The university has a total student strength of 13,221 with more than 5,500 female students across all departments. There are 16 departments in total offering many specializations in undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D.

    Chandigarh University is better for CSE as it has various specialisations in CSE itself. CU provides better internship and placement options. It is awarded with NAAC A+.
    The syllabus is all updated and modern. The faculty is highly qualified.
    Chandigarh University has a great learning environment. The fee is affordable and transparent.
    It has student exchange programme as well, as it has collaborations with many foreign universities. Good practical Exposure. Highly equipped labs.

    CSE from Chandigarh University will be relatively better than SRM. If VIT, Vellore campus is available then you can go for it.

    CU has set a new record as one of India's the largest IT company Wipro hiring a record number of 394 students in 2018-19 which happens to be the highest in India, while the other multinational giants IBM, Mindtree and Capgemini hire 196, 101 and 207 students during campus placements which is the highest selection made by the companies in North India. The 2018-19 placement session was a dream run for Chandigarh University students, with more than 627 top MNC's on campus making 6314 offers with the highest offered package being Rs. 31.77 LPA, Recenely offered 45 LPA package for BE CSE.

    There are many things that make Chandigarh University different from other universities. Firstly the teaching criteria of the University is quite impressive. Secondly, the technologies provided by the University are those which are used by the organizations, thus making the students comfortable with the software.
