Which university is better for CSE among LPU and Satyabhama?

Question

Sampreet Kaur · Answer

Both LPU and Sathyabama University are worth considering for CSE, but the better choice depends on your priorities. LPU may suit students looking for a broad range of computing specialisations, practical projects and opportunities to connect classroom learning with industry needs. Sathyabama is also an option to consider, particularly if Chennai is a more convenient location. Before deciding, compare the CSE syllabus, coding culture, internship support, placement records and total fees. Also check the companies hiring for software roles and the median package rather than focusing only on the highest package. Your skills and project experience will matter at either university.

Vikash Ranjan · Answer

According to your preference Lovely Professional University is the best for CSE engineering in terms of placement, faculty, infrastructure, laboratory and all.

Ananya Sharma · Answer

I would consider LPU a strong choice for CSE because it offers a broad technology-learning environment, industry interactions, technical clubs, internships and placement preparation. Students can explore fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing and software development. Sathyabama also has established engineering programmes and placement opportunities, so the exact CSE curriculum and campus experience matter. Sathyabama reported an average package of approximately ₹5.57 LPA for its 2024–25 placements across programmes, with 91.43% of registered students placed at the time of reporting. These are overall figures, not CSE-specific results. Before deciding, compare CSE-specific median salaries, placement rates, tuition fees and internship opportunities. At LPU, check your eligibility for LPUNEST scholarships, as the final fee could make a difference to your decision.
