Which university is better for MBA: LPU or Chitkara University?

Hi there, MBA at LPU is a different experience altogether. Comparing LPU's programme with Chitkara is unfair, is these are not even close to the scale at which LPU operates. The programme is a great mix of cutting edge curriculum, experiential learning pedagogy, industry interface, projects, internships and consultancies, technologies trainings and many more. This inculcates these qualities in the students in much better way and go a long way into shaping the career apart from cracking the interviews. Coming to reputation, since you asked, NIRF a government agency has ranked Mittal School of business among top 50 B-schools in the country twice in a row, in some of the parameters it has even beaten most Iims and ranked no. 2 in the country ! Hello, Being an Alumni of LPU from an MBA, I would say a Big Yes to LPU. When it comes to Professional degree I. e. MBA, LPU is the best University. One of my cousin pursued her MBA from LPU. LPU told that LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. The university is having tie-ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2016-2017 for campus placements like Hindustan Unilever, Arabol Lubricants Manufacturing LLC, Global Consumer Products Limited, Berger Paints, Vodafone (Punjab), etc. LPU students have also availed opportunities of Placements in government services like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Transport Corporation of India, etc., through on-campus/off-campus placement drives and SSB interviews. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LP. MBA programme comes under Mittal School of Business which is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation. Last year in MBA students got a package of max 16 Lacs per annum and the average packages were of 5 Lacs per annum. Furthermore, the best part is quality of curriculum which is really worthy and as per the industry standards. Every small content of every semester syllabus and subjects are benchmarked with the foreign universities. Moreover, the faculty members have great knowledge and wonderful skills of teaching. I would, any day, I’d suggest you Chitkara University for pursuing MBA programs. The university provides you opportunities for hands-on industry experience. The course at the university is not only restricted to the excellent curriculum but the placements are also outstanding. Talking about campuses in the region, I believe, Chitkara University has spoken volumes about itself.
