Engineering programmes are the heart of any institution and so is of LPU. I recalled last year my cousin was to pursue her B.Tech and we inquired from LPU and came to know that the university offers more than 250 programmes out of which Engineering is most in demand. In Engineering (B.Tech) different branches are there like CSE, ECE, Robotics, ME, IT, Chemical Engineering, FT, BT, AE and many more which are accepted by the industry. LPU floats the following streams in B.Tech:
    a. B.Tech (including Dual Programmes)
    b. Integrated B.Tech - M.Tech
    c. Integrated B.Tech. - MBA
    d. B.Tech (Hons. )
    LPU provides:
    1. Industrial Tie-ups
    2. Trainings and I

HI, You must join LPU. Once I was travelling by train from New Delhi to Jalandhar and on my adjacent seats, two students were sitting who were studying in engineering in LPU. Being an educator, I was curious to know about the University, so the same I did. The points they highlighted I will mention below
    1) The faculty and the infrastructure and other facilities are excellent.
    2) The placements are 100% and the preparation for the same starts from the very first year. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 31 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with

Hi Dear, Both the universities are doing equally good but here I would prefer recent NIRF rankings released by MHRD. Where LPU is mile ahead than a mentioned name. Moreover, there are several reasons to opt LPU. # Curriculum is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. # Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cybersecurity, IoT, data Science, machine learning, and many more. # LPU provides pathway to opt that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or ent

I don't know much about GITAM. I faced lot of confusion in selection of college at the time of my graduation. After long comparison I felt good for LPU. It gave me extra edge in everything. I am an alumni of LPU and My real brother is LPU passed out with CSE and I have seen and heard his experience during his UG. From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places.

If you are unable to make it to the top or good government & private engineering institutes then LPU is a good option to become an engineer. LPU is a better choice in comparison to GITAM because of its facilities and efforts to build its brand image.
  • Venkatesh, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Google, Tech Mahendra, Cognizant, Amazon, Adobe, etc come for recruitment purpose. Most of the B.Tech students are placed in good companies with packages as high as 20 LPA. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement cla

Both the universities are good. LPU has proved on various yardsticks that this is the university that is worth becoming a synonym for B Teach programme. This is the reason why students from across the country and globe come to LPU to study various engineering programmes. Professionally designed course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities, exposure has enabled LPU to leave reputed institutes far behind and earn NIRF rank 66 amid dozens of IITs and NITs. The curriculum taught here is of international standard. There are provisions of international credits in some programmes where a st
