Which university is better for pursuing BBA in terms of placement, faculty and atmosphere: Amity University or LPU?

1. Atmosphere : LPU is a massive multicultural cosmopolitan campus ! A huge mix of over 30000 students from all states of India and over 70 other countries makes it most vibrant campus in India. All round the year there are large number of events of different levels happening in the campus. Moreover it is a self sustaining city in itself with a shopping mall, convention center, auditoriums, eateries, restaurants, bakery and many more. 2. Faculty : It has massive intellectual capital with over 100 post doctorates, 700 PhDs from all over the world as faculty this makes LPU the biggest powerhouse of research and intellect. 3. Placements : There are more than 600 companies which are regular to campus, but about 200 of them hire from BBA students, recently LPU BBA grads were placed in De Shaw and Trident at packages of 18 LPA and 15 LPA ! So effectively the placements at LPU for BBA are better than even MBA at Amity. Hope this helps DVD.

As a Alumni it might seems that I am supporting LPU but LPU is Actually good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU gives career pathways like whether a student is interested in placement, higher studies or government sectors or Entrepreneurship. So as per the interest and decision of student lpu gives the inputs. I chose the placement so I got special classes of personality development, soft skills etc. And it really improved my performance in handling interviews, aptitude tests etc. Every year more than multinational companies came to lpu for placement drives even I got campus placement at a very good package which boost my confidence. MY friend got package of 5 Lacs per annum in last year after BBA in LPU other wise in BBA students availed the max packages of 7 Lacs per annum and average package of 3.6 Lacs per annum. The curriculum is benchmarked with the top foreign universities. The Eligibility of BBA in LPU is candidate should be Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English). LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. Around 543 M.Tech qualified, 52 M. Phils and 592 Ph.D.70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries including USA, Slovakia, Germany, France, Serbia, Russia, Romania, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Ukraine, Turkey, Togo, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Columbia etc. Every faculty member supports us academically and they take a stand completely in our problems for the solution. The placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Identification of an institute is the biggest problem which every individual faces. I am not much aware of the curriculum, exposure given by any of the university but one of my colleagues daughter did her studies from LPU. She told that LPUs Business School is ACBSP accredited, its a US based organisation which provides accreditation services to business school all around the world, so you are getting a degree accredited by USA. In curriculum, Pathways are also floated which actually assist the student to achieve their dream I. e. Corporate Jobs, Government Jobs and Higher Studies. The focus is on case based teaching which is to develop skills for analytical thinking and reflective judgement by reading and discussing complex and real-life scenarios. Apart from this, emphasis is laid on teaching by use of experiential activities, seminars, business games, role plays, etc. In addition to this, the University also floats study abroad programs try giving an opportunity to complete your degree in US, CANADA, AUSTRALIA etc. You can go for student exchange programs on scholarships by paying nominal fees. You can do foreign internships and process for foreign study from the university itself. The opportunities are endless.
