UID continues to be the best design college in India for many years now. You do not need to look elsewhere for a good design college. The number of aspiring candidates is only increasing at UID every year. The infrastructure, the expert guest lectures, well connected and learned faculty members, what more do you want? At the end of the programme, a student emerges as a versatile interior designer but also as someone who is an expert at her or his chosen field of work. This year, due to the Coronavirus lockdown, the entrance tests are being conducted online. Innovative, isn't it? That's whats so great about this college - adapting according to the need of the hour!

Chandigarh University is better for UID Interior Design than Chitkara because: 1. CU provides excellent placements and internship opportunities. 2. Syllabus is all updated and modern. 3. CU is awarded with NAAC A+ 4. Chandigarh University has a great learning environment. 5. Highly educated faculty members. 6.
