Which university is better in placements for a BCA among Chandigarh University, Chitkara University and LPU?

I am sure both must be doing well, usually there are some parameters on which the colleges/universities are compared, these are: Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since IT is a highly dynamic field, you cant afford a programme which is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech programme. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc. Are given high importance in the organizations. Diversity: As he world shrinks into a aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship : Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. The college must have innovation labs, design thinking and business incubator. Community service: A bit of community projects in between the course are very important to develop the humane side of the person as well as learn the organizing skills. Placements : The programme is only means to the end ! And desired end of such course is a placement. You must check if the college/university has sold track record of placements or not. On all these parameters, per my 16 years of experience both of them are far behind LPU, which has excelled by leaps and bounds on back of its stellar track record in every possible parameter. I have Completed MBA from this University and my experience at the LPU has been delightful thus far. It provides for multiple industrial exposures, live projects, an updated curriculum rigor and technology along with very good placements and personality development. LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. I stayed in LPU hostel during my post graduation years, and I had few friends from BCA course so I have idea about this course. Students learn about some interesting subjects like Mathematics, Computer Programming, Computer Networking, Database Management Systems and, Software Engineering. Besides the core compulsory subjects, students can choose from a wide variety of subjects as their pathway elective or minor elective. They told me their department have separate laboratories for all the domains: Programming Lab, Networking Lab, Systems and Architecture Lab, Databases Lab, Software, Engineering Lab. Although, choosing electives thoughtfully might not sound like a big deal in your first year. However, they make a huge difference to your career. For example, if you want to study further after BCA you can choose pathway electives like Artificial Intelligence, or if your looking forward to adding more skills to your resume to find a good job, you can opt for pathway electives like Javascript, Front-End Web Development, App Development, etc. Students are involved in various live projects, They attended session on Android Apps development. The workshop was conducted by Er The School also organized 18 hours Workshop and Hands-on. Mayank RajJaiswal of Techknow Innovators, working as smartphone software development in Samsung R&D currently in South Korea Samsung headquarters. The main aim of this workshop was to make the students familiar with the application development technology and recent advances in this field. Department conducted one day workshop on Digital Electronics was also organized by school of computer applications where students of BCA were taken to the digital lab where they got the live exposure to working on the instruments and equipment used in digital electronics. Placements in LPU are good if you are a brilliant student and you have better ideas and projects with you. Internship experience also helps. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is between 9 LPA to 11 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS and many other companies.

As far as these colleges are concern, both are good but I would prefer Lovely Professional University. LPU is much better than any other University.
