A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30 percent in number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70 percent in the number of core branch companies which selected the fresh talent.

Chitkara University is good for computer Science engineering in terms of placements. A lot of companies from world wide, visit the campus of Chitkara University to provide placements and offer jobs to the graduates of the university. The students are hired by organisations like, samsung, infosys, infotech, wipro, HCL, HP, Amazon, and alot of other reputed companies that recruit students with good salary packages annually. The highest package is really good for the students who get the placement. The fact that maximum number of students of Chitkara University are placed in good companies and the others who opted to study further are in real good colleges. The engineering department follows pathway programme for engineering department and the students get to experience the experimental learnings at Chitkara University with collaboration with foreign universities. During the campus placements, which included over 240 multinational businesses, a record number of 3750 engineering students were chosen. In sum, the number of total organizations visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students increased by 30%, while the number of core branch companies that selected fresh talent increased by 70%. Furthermore, compared to the previous year, the overall number of offers made to engineering students increased by 60%. More than 300 multinational corporations (MNCs) are among the 240 firms in the Engineering industry.

This university has an excellent placement record. Another feature that distinguishes it from other universities and institutes is its industry collaboration programmes with industry titans such as IBM and Microsoft. Leading industry titans instruct and train Chandigarh University students in order to prepare them for the workforce. Recently, 118 students received offer letters from Hewlett Packard at Chandigarh University; 1253 students were selected by global IT giant Accenture, and 573 engineers received offer letters from Wipro at Chandigarh University.
