Based on strong Industry academic interface, Chandigarh University happens to be setting new benchmarks in campus placements. Based on strong Industry academic interface, Chandigarh University happens to be setting new benchmarks in campus placements. Talking about the 2019 placements, it has been a dream run for students of Chandigarh University, with more than 691 Top MNCs on campus made 6617 offers with INR. 35 LPA being the highest package offered. Chandigarh University provides a platform to the students for getting placed in their dream company. It also conducts excursion visits to provide students with opportunities to participate in activities related to curriculum. The university has created a niche as the university with best placements. It holds Joint Placement programme which is attended by reputed institutions like NIT Jalandhar, NIT Hamirpur, IIT Ropar and BITS. Chandigarh University also helps to develop skills on GD, Pre placement training, aptitude lessons, and analytical reasoning. The Corona pandemic disturbed the entire education system of the world. With immense hardwork university provided all the possible platforms in order to maintain the studies of students. Chandigarh University kickstarted its 2020 and 2021 placement drive by bagging 1000 plus offers from 150 multinational companies within three months of the first phase of the placement season. Even amidst the pandemic, the university has witnessed an increase of 20 percent in the number of recruiters participating in the campus placements. Till now, over 5000 offers have been provided by 500 MNCs to the students of Engineering, MBA, Hotel Management, Pharmacy, BioTechnology, Architecture and other programs. Over 35 companies have offered a placement package worth INR. 10 LPA or above, while the average CTC stood at INR. 8.75 LPA. Till now, the highest package is at INR. 35 LPA which was offered by a US based MNC Acresium. The institute kicked off its 2021 MBA placements wherein it witnessed the participation of 210 multinational companies from Banking, E commerce, IT, Healthcare, Retail, Business Analytics, FMCG Tourism and Hospitality sectors. Over 500 multinational companies conducted virtual campus placement drives for the students of Engineering MBA, Hotel Management, biological backgrounds.
