All are reputed universities in one or the other factor. But lovely professional university is best in all the aspects. Lpu is situated in Punjab and it covers more than 600 acres. It is having a world class infrastructure, numerous rankings and accreditation, well qualified teachers, fully equipped labs with the latest technique, sports and co-curricular activities, security and safety measures, unbeatable placement records etc. Professional enhancement classes, guest lectures, industrial visits are an integral part of the curriculum. Lpu is also having tie-ups with national and foreign national companies. Every year more than 500 companies visit lpu for recruitment purpose. The alumni of lpu are working all across the globe in multi-national companies. There is no competition to LPU in providing best education, infrastructure, equipment, industry interface, technology trainings, center for professional enhancement, centers for excellence set up by industry itself etc. On top of it, LPU's stellar record of placements is exemplary which is unmatched. Over 600 companies visit the campus for recruitment every year. Recently he Design students have been placed in Trident at 15 lacs per annum. The placement record is more than 80 percent and above every year at UID. There are many students who opt for entrepreneurship or aims for Master degree in Design after completion of B. Des. Rest of the students opt for placements and are successfully placed. This is how the placement for UID works : The Career Service Department experts sit with the individual budding designers and discuss about their goals. Those interested in entrepreneurship are recommended for the entrepreneurship incubation center where the experts guide a student for a successful design project related to entrepreneurship/business. The campus interviews are organized by CSD department based on the demand of placements from the students. Adequate multinational and transnational brands are invited for campus recruitments. Most importantly, every students at UID go for their internships from reputed companies like Tata Motors, Raymond, GAS, Microsoft, Hamleys, Tanishq etc. The students get huge support from 15 soft skill training experts from the industry who teaches the students about business communication, presentation skills so that the students can sell their design ideas to their clients and the business negotiation skills, effective usage of communication tools and kinaesthetics.
