During campus placements at Chandigarh University, Walt Disney, the world's leading tourism and hospitality management organization, picked 41 Hotel Management and Airlines Tourism students. Walt Disney has hired Hotel Management and Airlines Tourism students from Chandigarh University for the fifth year in a row, having chosen 5 students in 2014, 10 in 2015, 11 in 2016, and 25 in 2017. A total of 106 international and national hotel chains, airlines, and tour and travel management businesses chose 294 students from Chandigarh University's University Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (UITHM). There has been a 20% increase in the number of Five Star Hotel Chains that have hired Hotel Management students, as well as a 30% increase in the number of offers when compared to last year.

With a package of 52.11 LPA in Engineering and 28 LPA in MBA and 18 LPA in Hotel Management Chandigarh University has placed the students in various industries. Hie! Of Course all the above institutes are fairly well but I would like to share some insights about LPU. Many reputed companies in this field had visited for the placements drive - Viral International, Jaypee Residency Hotel, Qatar Airways, Air Vistara, P and O Cruise (USA), Al Thiqarestaurant Co (Kuwait), Hyatt (USA), Wolf Great Resort (USA), Jubilant (Dominos), Sapphire Foods (KFC), The Grand (New Delhi), The Leela, Zuri Whitefield, Courtyard Marriot, ITC Hotels, Radisson Blu, The Oberoi Cecil etc. It is the best private university with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities, and highly qualified faculty in India. The university is having tie-ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher amenities to its students. Nonetheless, in each semester LPU gives Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes like Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning), Quantitative Aptitude Skills, Technical Aptitude Skills, Presentations and Soft Skills and Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ) The latest salary package was around 9 to 10 Lacs despite Pandemic. Chandigarh University is where more than 550 companies visit every year for placement purposes. CU facilitates the students through all aspects. Talking about the hotel management programme in Cu, there is a university mall also where the students of the hotel management programme also get a live experience of the industry. LPU provides tremendous academic exposure to its students. It gives a chance for the students to attend guest lectures or workshops so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. The record of our alumni also states the impeccable placement record of CU. I think in contest to other university CU has best placement. Placement in CU is better in comparison to other university. The CU is well known for their placement.
