Being an alumni of LPU and I believe that LPU is one of the best universities among all the B schools as well as other ranked universities. I will share certain facts which would justify the same. 1. Accreditation: As LPU got accreditation from Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs, USA (ACBSP). Not only LPU is highly accredited but also it is having numerous international tie ups for instance university of North Alabama, Livingstone College etc. 2. Size: LPU is spread over 600 acres campus consisting of 3000+students and 3500+ faculty members and staff. Students are taking the admissions not from all over India but across the borders as well which make me feel that I am in a foreign land. 3. Ranking: LPU has following ranking: 1. Impact rankings 2021 2. National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds 3. Outlook has ranked LPU as 5th among top 50 universities 4. Knowledge Review rated LPU as 10 th among Best training and Placement Institute 4. Infrastructure: LPU in itself a town as all the amenities a student could found at one place there is no need to move out of the campus. From Central Library to Hospital, Bank, ATMs, JIM facility, swimming pool. A student could enjoy his or her life in the best way. 5. Placements: LPU is having outstanding Placements record for the students. As every year not only national companies but also international ones are also hiring the LPU students for instance Amazon offers 30 Lacs package per annum. The Corporates which have visited the campus are Microsoft, Amazon, DBS Bank etc. 6. Faculty: LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. 7. To answer your question I would give you very simple reason that makes me firmly believe in LPU as always a better university. I am an alumnae of LPU and had witnessed the overall system of education in there. The reason I say LPU is the BEST because in the process of Engineering the university also worked on my overall development. Whatever I am today is because of the training and learning I had it from there. The complete system of the university is as per the corporate model. Starting right from the conduction of classes, time management and ums, deadlines and assignment submissions, club activities, student engagement programs, hackathons and competitions. It all boosted our overall development. LPU lays focus on Research & Development, Industrial Tie-Ups, Live Projects, International Exposure, Start ups, Placements and definitely overall development. Specifically in this competitive world today one needs to explore avenues in all spades. Considering these facts I found one university that strongly stands out and found pretty promising ie Lovely Professional University. Popularly known as LPU. LPU campus is a complete world in itself having more than 30000 students from 28 states of India and 3000 foreign students from more than 50 countries of the world. There is cultural diversity, mixture of emotions and this is the reason everyone tends to learn and understand each other culture and tradition prevailing in the society. Not just engineering, the university is also known for programmes like MBA, Business Management, Design, Hotel Management, Law, Pharmacy among others. LPU takes pride in its students' excellent placement record. Hi, Choosing a university is a big decision and a very difficult task, as our career depends upon that. I would highly recommend LPU because of the following reasons. 1. Infrastructure: The University is spread over 600 acres which provide each and every facility to its students inside the campus. Both university are good, As a faculty of LPU. I can highlight some of the facts of LPU: #LPU being in education since last 18 years has fetched many rankings to its credit as compared to any other institute. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. #Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. # Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. #LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognizant, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. #The centre for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill Sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculty members. Sharda University must be good but I have less knowledge about the university. So I cant give the details of the university. I know about LPU because of my association with the university as a guardian of two students. The kids were admitted to the university at my recommendation only. I am happy I was not proven wrong. Their experience at the campus corroborated my statement that LPU is good. It is such a big campus with over 30000 students and over 6000 teaching and non teaching staff. The campus has almost everything inside. It has Hospital, Shopping Mall, Gym, Indoor Stadium, Post Office, Bank, Food Courts with International cuisines, Hostel Facility, etc. ) The NIRF rankings of LPU this year were quite impressive. LPU is at no 12 among all government and private architecture institutions in India. In pharmacy it is 23, in Law 24, in business it is 37 and in engineering it is 66. The Times World University Rankings 2022 LPU Is at no 22 in Times Higher Education List. Outlook ranks LPU at number 9 in Outlook Care rankings and The Timesof India ranks LPU at no 36 in the list of engineering institutes. LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for best placement Institute in India. LPU is ranked 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019 by Knowledge Review.
