Lovely professional University is a single campus private university in India located in Jalandhar, Punjab with 30K+ students all across the world and with 3k+ experienced faculty members and staff members with more than 200+ programmes. LPU has ICAR accreditation and has become the first private university to get this recognition. LPU has a beautiful campus with a great infrastructure with all the facilities within the campus itself. So I would suggest you to pursue your B.Sc. Agriculture from LPU.

Hi Yashpal, Out of both the universities I would suggest you to go for LPU to do B.Sc. (Hons. ). In Agriculture. As this course is provided with hons. Degree not a regular B.Sc. Agriculture degree. Hons. Programme weight-age in comparison to regular programs is always more due to it's academic structure and other practical exposure benefits this course provide which you can't be learn in regular degree. This programme builds expertise through well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora. Creating professionals to tackle the dogma from SEED to stomach. For this degree LPU already have ICAR accreditation and moreover provides students to experiment their subject theory on LPU farms within the campus. ICAR accreditation proves that LPU has all the proper infrastructure to support the programme. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an accreditation from the Central ministry of India related to study of agriculture which is given to those universities who are the best for this field means, if a university have all the resources in terms of labs, fields, well qualified and experienced staff and faculty, Hi-Tech labs, research background, etc. then this affiliation is given to only that university. It is very difficult for a university to meet the standards of ICAR. Between Amity University or LPU, I would always prefer LPU. I will tell you why? My cousin is studying at LPU so I would like to share her experience with you all, I can say that LPU is best private University to purse B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture. If you are looking for quality education and good placements along with learned faculty work hard on you to get you placed in the best of the companies, then LPU is the place for you to go for. LPUs school of Agriculture has ICAR approval. Students who have passed out from LPU have got jobs in various departments and states. LPU has made a good name for itself in a short span of time by working hard for its students in terms of education, faculty, placements, infrastructure, etc. It works for the overall development of its students. Its main aim is to provide students with ample exposure both in the form of theoretical and practical knowledge for which there is much emphasis on workshops, live projects etc. along with classroom teaching. The university has made quality education possible for all by providing good scholarships under different categories. Now, these were just some of the few advantages of LPU but there is much better to say about LPU like its infrastructure, study environment, placements, cultural programs and what not, I can definitely say that LPU would be worth joining.

Hello! LPU is the best option for B.Sc. Agriculture. LPU is the first private University to be granted prestigious ICAR Accreditation from the Ministry of Agriculture. B.Sc. Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days. This programme equips students with all-round knowledge of sector and normally includes the following: Agronomy: Basics of Agronomy, Kharif and Rabi Crop, Crop Protection, Weed Management, Irrigation Techniques, Water Resource Management, Organic Farming, Sustainable Agriculture. LPU has Hons programme in same as B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, which is a 4 year course in total. Eligibility for the same is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent.

I gave my vote to LPU for B.Sc. In agriculture as one of my cousins graduated in this course from LPU and I will highlight some of the features. 1. Lovely Professional University is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country. 2. The faculty is highly qualified and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students. 3. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. 4. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. 5. University provides additional placement oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. Thanks.

LPU is much better for agriculture, in fact for all the programmes it offers. I think LPU gives a shape to the education you have learnt so far. Justified Admission Criteria, Almost Every Course One Can Think Of, Excellent Academics, Amazing Exposure, Endless Opportunities, Widely Ranging Extra-Curricular Activities, The training to be industry-ready confidence, pride and enthusiasm and what not. I will suggest you to go for Lovely Professional University. If you want to pursue B.Sc. Agriculture, LPU is the best option.
