Hi Yashpal, Out of both the universities I would suggest you to go for LPU to do B.Sc. (Hons. ). In Agriculture. As this course is provided with hons. Degree not a regular B.Sc. Agriculture degree. Hons. Programme weight-age in comparison to regular programs is always more due to it's academic structure and other practical exposure benefits this course provide which you can't be learn in regular degree. Let me first clear the meaning of ICAR. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an accreditation from the Central ministry of India related to study of agriculture which is given to those universities who are the best for this field means, if a university have all the resources in terms of labs, fields, well qualified and experienced staff and faculty, Hi-Tech labs, research background, etc. then this affiliation is given to only that university. It is very difficult for a university to meet the standards of ICAR.

Between Amity University or LPU, I would always prefer LPU. I will tell you why? My cousin is studying at LPU so I would like to share her experience with you all, I can say that LPU is best private University to purse B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture.
