Which university is better to pursue computer science engineering among LPU, Amity University, Sharda University and Thapar University?

The placements at LPU are almost unexpectable. Someone gets a really good package while some get very less, it depends upon your portfolio and the interview. Mostly, the interviews matter a lot. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 Lacs and it's a good package, Tanya Arora she got 42 LPA from Microsoft. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more. It depends on how you perform. CSE is best to pursue from Thapar University. B.E. Computer Science and Engineering programme is designed to offer elective focus as soon as student clears semester IV of the programme. Student has to choose EF (Elective Focus) out of the following six choices and shall continue with this group till his study at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. Choices are: I. Software Engineering II. Information and Cyber Security III. Computer Animation and Gaming IV. Machine Learning and Data Analytics V. Computational Science VI. Mathematics and Computing.

II will recommend CU- Chandigarh University my cousin recently completed his degree from this University I can SEE lot of changes in him, he is more confident now and have developed good communication skills. Lot of opportunities are given to students to unleash their talents, CU focus more on practical knowledge which helps students to learn new skills. Placement of CU is wonderful companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Walt Disney, IBM, Flipkart, SAP Labs are visiting CU Campus for recruitment of fresh talent.

Among all the four options available, I think choosing LPU would be a wiser decision. LPU is better in all the aspects like campus life, academics, placements, etc. About the academics here, it is very good. All the faculty members are very experienced here and are very helping and understanding too. Hence you can rely on them for any career advice that you may have. Also, whatever subject they teach, they have a very good command of that subject. The students here are very well-groomed for the placements. There are classes to teach you all the etiquettes related to placements. About the placements, it is very good too here at LPU. At LPU around 500-600 companies come for recruiting students, and out of all those more than around 100 companies are those which also recruits from IIT and NIT. When the placements are concerned, LPU has and is still setting a new benchmark every coming year. Recently a student at LPU was offered a package of 42LPA. This year too, around 11 students were offered a package of up to 30LPA. And the Campus Life here at LPU is great too. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. I am currently working as an Application Development Analyst in Accenture, Noida. To begin with, LPU provides a lot of options in engineering only. It is one of the most highlighted courses. It has B.Tech and B.Tech (Hons) courses. B.Tech (Hons. ). With time they had introduced my new programs considering in mind the change occurring in technology. LPU has been ranked in the top 100 private universities by many outer agencies such as Business Today, golden star awards, Digital learning, zee news, etc. More than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU Following is the data showing the placements of LPU students by top brand companies. 1. I have learnt a lot throughout this journey and whatever I have achieved in my academic as well as professional life, I owe it all to LPU. On that note, I would like to tell you about all the features that contributed to quality education and above all, an impeccable college life. LPU provides specialisation in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum that is benchmarked with foreign universities. Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. The college must have innovation labs, design thinking and business incubator. The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech programme must have the exposure and training of the same.
