LPU is much better than any other University. It is a UGC recognised and a renowned University and is considered as one of the top 5 universities of the country because of its quality education and unbeatable placements, immense on course exposures, and a beautiful 600 acres campus to live in with the latest facilities. SRM is one of the finest universities in Chennai.As they are kind and will help you whenever they want. Overall academics are good. Placement is as good as you think. If you are seeking admission in an engineering college then I would like to suggest VIT as the first preference. It is one of the most reputed private colleges after BITS-Pilani. It is the best option in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. SRM is also a good college but if we compare it with VIT then VIT is better. Now, it's up to you, but first of all, you have to clear its entrance exam.

Its difficult to compare, both are private deemed universities, but VIT has years of service and reputation behind while SRM is a relatively new generation private deemed university.
