Which university is good for B.Tech amongst LPU-Jalandhar, Amity-Noida, SRM-Chennai and Sharda University?

Hello dear, Although All the above mentioned universities are equally good there are just nuances among all these Universities. Majorly the regions are different and all are putting great efforts in there academics and enhancing other salient features. Still There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is an international university with more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. My cousin sister done her B.Tech in CSE from here and she got placed in Cognizant with top package. Other friends of her also placed in other companies such as Capgemini, Tech. Mahindra, BOSCH, Amazon, SAP, Texas Instruments, Cadence, Sandisk, Moserbear. Their junior Tanya Arora who is recently in news, got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA. So, we have no doubt that LPU is best and a bench marks for placement and internships of students not only in CSE but also in other courses. One more point I want to highlight here is that the scholarships offered by LPU helps a student without any monetary burden. Shyam, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, IBSs, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Google, Tech Mahendra, Cognizant, Amazon, etc come for recruitment purpose. Most of the students are placed in good companies with high package. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students have been offered package as high as 20 lacs pa. Hi Normally, I would compare the college on various parameters before coming to the conclusion, these are: Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the college/university regularly upgraded with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy : Mere classroom learning doesn't work these days, your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum, equipment and other resources. Projects and internships : For learning hands on the real time situations in companies. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on the personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics etc. For making students right id of professionals. Technologies: The curriculum must includes the trainings on the latest and cutting edge technologies like SAP, GitHub etc. For improving the efficiency. Student diversity: When the class comprises of people from diverse nationalities and background, students learn the most important part of working in corporate, team work and cross cultural sensibilities. Faculty: Obviously the faculty members must be of high caliber and research oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits and mentor-ship programs organised by university. Entrepreneurship and community projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation and business incubation labs, some universities like LPU are a step further, they also have SEED capital facility for deserving startups. Placements: After all it boils down to placements, the university must attract god number of companies for recruitment and offer good salaries as well as job roles. My 16 years of experience tells me that LPU has excelled in all of these way beyond everyone else in the competition. Hi Shyam, Once I was travelling by train from New Delhi to Jalandhar and on my adjacent seats, two students were sitting who were studying in engineering in LPU. Being an educator, I was curious to know about the University, so the same I did. The points they highlighted I will mention below: 1) The faculty and the infrastructure and other facilities are excellent. 2) The placements are 100% and the preparation for the same starts from the very first year. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 4-10 LPA. 3)They give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job or you want to be an entrepreneur. 4) There is more than twelve Center of Excellence established by reputable companies like Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. 5) There is an innovation studio in LPU where students can work on their ideas. Moreover, in 2019, when the Indian Science Congress held in LPU, LPU Students also design Solar-powered Driverless Bus to ferry PM Modi to Indian Science Congress 2019 in this studio. 6) Last but not the least, the students told me that LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. SRM is the best university amongst the options you have mentioned with an all India ranking of 35 and with 1344 faculty members (of which more than 466 are PhDs). It has published more than 20 patents and granted 3 patents this year.
