Hi Karan, If you want quality education, the limitation of location must be set aside. The opportunities after B.Tech are immense, you may or may not get the home location in your job ! Just 5 hour drive on NH 1 from Delhi is LPU !
It is better to shed your inhibitions if you want to rise in your career. LPU is famous for its placements, more than 700 companies are regular recruiters from the campus every year. From Trident which offered 15 LPA to Emeryll to Forbes Marshall which offered 6 lacs of package, students get a whole lot of placement opportunities depending upon their domains and CGPA as well as their interests. Engineering programmes are the heart of any institution and so is of LPU. There is no point to compare because every organisation is just doing good at their places. I am not much aware of SRM, Amity and DU because I never visited there and no one knows me from whom I can take feedback but I can throw light on LPU because one of my cousin pursued his studies from LPU. As we all know that B.Tech Mechanical Engineering is the branch of engineering that involves production, designing, and operations of machines and the main objective of LPU is to prepare students for applying the principles of mechanical engineering for designing, manufac

LPU is not situated in Delhi. It just has its administrative office there. In Delhi, Amity University would be a better option as SRM Delhi is relatively new and I definitely prefer established institutes over newer ones. Amity has a reputed name in educational field and a nice placement record.
