Which university is the best among LPU and SRM to pursue B.Sc. In hotel management?

Hotel management and hospitality courses offer excellent career opportunities in multiple industries. Hotel management graduates can not only earn good salaries but also get good growth opportunities in India as well as abroad. Though both the universities are good in terms of academics but being an alumni let me explain LPU. Dear Sakshi, I am not much aware of the hotel management course at SRM university but I can tell you about this course at LPU as my cousin did this programme there, Let me share few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU : Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. So I must say that LPU would be the best option for pursuing the course for HOTEL MANAGEMENT. As university possess a hotel which not only give practical exposure but also the real time ELIGIBILITY :Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Hi Sakshi, In North India, I must say LPU is might be as good as IHM's in North India. And yes LPU does offer a Bachelors degree in Hospitality and Airline Tourism. Placements are very good ATIT salary packages are very good. In fact, I have heard few overseas placements also. LPU provides 4 Hospitality courses: 1) B.Sc. Hotel Management. 3 years. 2) Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. 4 years. 3) B.Sc. (Airlines, Tourism, and Hospitality) 3 years. 4) Diploma in Airline Cabin Crew and Hospitality. 1 Year LPU has eligibility Criteria also: Candidate must have 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 and English subject must have studied. Hi, Professionals with hospitality experience are still in demand in the hospitality industry. 5-star hotels, aviation, retail, shopping centers, culinary arts, cruise liners, concierge, restaurants, and other businesses usually take these. For middle management and leadership positions, starting salaries for hotel managers are in the region of INR 30,000 to 40,000 depending on the location and size of the hotel. In India, general managers earn, on average, 85,000 with a range of 50,000 to 2,00,000 or more for the largest, most prestigious hotels. LPU is one of the best options for Hotel management as it has the Best facilities, infrastructure, and equipment. UGC has been declared SRMIST as Deemed to be University and have 32 NIRF ranking. While the LPU is a state private University approved by UGC. The LPU have NIRF ranking of 99. So SRMIST can be best here.
