Which university offers Phd through distance education?
Thanks for your kind reply. But one more thing I would like to ask, two years back a notice circulated from UGC that no university can offer M.Phil and P.HD in distance mode. For distance education university has to take DEC approval for university as well as for their courses they are offer.I asked

Hi Sudhir, in case UGC and DEC have said so, then it must be true. To further confirm you can take two steps : 1st) request UGC and DEC to give you this information in written. Maybe you can ask for FAX or you can request a website address where UGC and DEC have listed all the approved universities

YOU CAN GO AHEAD WITH THE GLOBAL OPEN UNIVERSITY MPHIL PROGRAM AS GLOBAL PROGRAMS ARE APPROVED BY DEC AND DEGREE IS APPVD BY AICTE AND MINISTRY OF HRD.
WE R AUTHORISED STUDY CENTER OF TGOU AT UTTARAKHAND AND HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED TWO SESSIONS OF MPHIL.

m phil programme in distance mode
