Hi, Before finalising the institute, compare:
    1. Rankings
    2. Years of establishment
    3. Curriculum
    4. Industry Exposure
    5. Infrastructure required for learning
    6. Placements
    7. Efforts for your placement
    8. Community Projects
    9. Centre for Excellence
    10. Internal and external competitions
    11. Training
I recall one of my friends inquired from LPU. He was told that every year 750 companies visit to recruit students which shows the right choice to pursue your degree. Rest you can also inquire about other institutes but I doubt the above facilities are floated. Therefore, I recommend joining LPU. Thanks.

In LPU, 300+ Campus placement drives with reputed brands used to be held every year for this course. Students are placed in the best brands like MICROSOFT, AMAZON, DIRECTI, INFOSYS, IBM, BOSCH ENGINEERING, HEWLETT PACKARD, VMWARE SOFTWARE, CAPGEMINI, TECH MAHINDRA, COGNIZANT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, ADOBE SYSTEMS INDIA, TCS, ITC INFOTECH, HCL TECHNOLOGY etc. In terms of placement in 2020, it was really tough for all to proceed further. Its tough for a University who wants to promote its student to get excellent placement. Its tough for the companies also to take decision on the acquisition of excellent young talents. Thapar University ranks above LPU in every ranking and survey. Hence, if the choice is to be made between the two colleges, I would recommend Thapar University hands down.

Lovely Professional University is better because of very good environment and highly educated teachers and LPU is giving scholarship for all the students.

Thapar University is better though, its title for university is in risk. It's more of an institute than a university. So, practically, it will be risking your future as you are just raw fresher. So, go for LPU for more secured future.
  • Scholarships, placements, exposure to industry, efficient & knowledgeable faculty, flexible curriculum and teaching pedagogues, infrastructure, and diverse culture make LPU unwatchable.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
