Placements are quite decent there, I will talk specifically about CSE at Chandigarh University. Number of Companies: A huge number of companies visit campus. If we consider the 2019 batch there are around 425+ companies out of which more than 150 are of CSE. Packages: Package ranges from 3.20 Lacs to 22.5 Lacs. In future companies with higher package may visit, that depends upon the performance of previous batches. Companies: From mass recruiter to core companies do visit. Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree - these are the big players. Microsoft, Amazon, Practo, DE Shaw, Deloitte, Josh, Unisys, Polaris, Zycus, PayU, Crafts, John Deer, SAP Labs, MU Sigma, Cubsation, NCR, Newgen, and many more. So you can see opportunities are there but some efforts are needed from students' end too.
